The house shown here at 4789 Ste. Catherine St. W. was occupied by J.E. Laurendeau and later by Vincent Poggi, artist, until 1968-69 when it was demolished.
Surprisingly, the property was not built upon until 1989-90 when the condo at 200 Lansdowne was built.
The building at 4795 Ste. Catherine is occupied by a day camp and other businesses.
as a car buff I only paid attention to the sports car heading out of the picture. An MG (TC ?)probably unless someone had real class and it is a 1930's Alfa. Hard to tell from the distance. You should also have name the car types/models in the picture contests with these old pics. :)

Ste-Catherine - north side between Landsdowne and Grosvenor. Now occupied by a brown brick multi-story apartment building. Like you say- easy.....
Northwest corner of Lansdowne and Ste. Catherine St.
Stately house replaced by a high-rise.
The address IS written at the bottom of the photo...

The building on the left was occupied by a construction/engineering company if I remember correctly.
The hill looks so fake, was there a bunker under that house?
Interesting point. To the SE corner of this hill is a similar hill. The former POM bakery, now a deluxe condo establishment. If dem hills could talk..
There was once a road toll house where that curb curves away on the left.
